Mobile Learning maybe defined as the exploitation of ubiquitous handheld devices and technologies, together with wireless and mobile service providers networks, to facilitate, support, enhance and extend the reach of teaching and learning. Mobile learning can take place in any location, at any time, including traditional learning environments such as classrooms as well as in workplaces, at home, community locations and in transit.

Since 2007 we have had help to steer and promote the development of mobile learning in the region and establish a forum and networking platform for discussion and dissemination on all aspects of Mobile Learning, including research, policy, implementation issues and impact on the government organizations and the society as a whole. The conference is aimed as a catalyst for change and new thinking
